Job Description:

Kenect Recruitment is seeking a Senior Install Service Engineer to join a well-established provider of fire and security solutions. The role involves hands-on field work, problem solving, and delivering exceptional service across various sectors. The engineer will perform planned maintenance, emergency repairs, and system upgrades on fire and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and emergency lighting.
2. Perform fault finding and diagnostics to ensure systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
3. Provide onsite repairs and technical support, maintaining high standards of customer service.
4. Maintain accurate service records using digital software.
5. Liaise with the field line manager and back-office support to deliver timely, professional service.
6. Ensure all work complies with relevant industry regulations and standards (BAFE, NSI Gold).
7. Identify and report potential risks, recommending upgrades or improvements when needed.

Requirements:

• Experience servicing fire and/or security systems.
• CSR Card.
• Strong fault-finding skills and technical knowledge across multiple platforms.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• A proactive and flexible attitude to working hours and travel.
• Full UK driving license.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and digital reporting systems.
