The opportunity:

A well known FMCG company is seeking a Senior Insights and Strategy Manager to Join and drive consumer understanding and shape strategic growth.

We’re looking for a strategic and curious thinker to join our ambitious Insight Team—an exciting opportunity to influence the future of our brands through big-picture thinking and data-driven storytelling.

You’ll be the voice of the consumer, translating insight from a range of sources into actionable strategies. Your work will directly inform decisions across Marketing and Commercial teams, helping to unlock growth and innovation.

You'll take the lead on developing and driving the consumer insight agenda across the brands, ensuring we stay ahead of trends and focused on what really matters to our customers.

What will my key accountabilities be?

Shape Strategy Through Insight. Lead with Curiosity

An insight leader to play a pivotal role in driving brand growth through deep consumer understanding. This role offers the chance to influence strategic decisions and foster a culture of curiosity across the business.

Insight Leadership That Drives Impact

  • Take full ownership of the consumer insight agenda across the brand portfolio ensuring insights are at the heart of brand, marketing, and commercial strategies.
  • Lead the development and execution of annual plans, designed to align with business priorities and fuel long-term growth.
  • Translate complex data from a range of sources—quant, qual, behavioural, and syndicated—into a clear and compelling view of the consumer journey.
  • Bring insights to life through powerful storytelling, helping teams connect emotionally and strategically with consumer needs.
  • Play an active role in shaping the wider Insight function—contributing to team culture, elevating standards, and championing best practice across the business.

Partnering for Growth

  • Work closely with Brand teams as their trusted insight advisor—informing brand strategy, creative development, and campaign execution and offer challenge and guidance on brand health.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Innovation, Category, and Shopper teams to ensure consumer thinking drives idea generation, execution, and post-launch optimisation.

  • Act as a strategic partner to the brand team challenging constructively, shaping decisions, and influencing direction, all while building strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Approach challenges with curiosity and a discovery mindset, always digging deeper to uncover the real human truths and turning them into clear, actionable insights.
  • Work with agility and pace, anticipating needs and delivering insight that’s one step ahead.
