Job Description

We are looking to hire an Insights Analyst who is passionate about Retail, CPGs & eCommerce.

Being a leading digital shelf and omnichannel analytics provider working with CPG brands globally, and having been recently acquired by NielsenIQ, we have a wealth of online data and are expanding our Insights team at NIQ Digital Shelf.

The role involves supporting sales and marketing teams with actionable insights derived from data analysis and research for prospects, marketing, events, and existing clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in analyzing large datasets using Excel and creating effective presentations with PowerPoint.

This position reports to the Strategic Insights Director and involves close collaboration with Sales & Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Generate insights and build case studies to attract new clients and assist the sales team in pitches.
  2. Create case studies and category snippets for prospecting.
  3. Lead tool demos of our solutions to new prospects and support sales pitches.
  4. Generate content across categories, competitors, and features to support marketing publications.
  5. Ensure timely delivery of regular and ad-hoc insights.
  6. Present analysis accessibly for both technical and non-technical audiences to inform business decisions.
  7. Handle large and disparate datasets, interpreting and translating data into meaningful insights.
  8. Quickly draw insights from complex data involving multiple brands, retailers, categories, and markets.
  9. Extract data from our platform and enhance it with NielsenIQ datasets and secondary sources like reports and market research.
  10. Assist in building a central knowledge base for all use cases across markets.
Person Specification
  • Up to 4 years’ experience in insight or analytics roles.
  • Preferred: Strong knowledge/experience in Retail, CPG, eCommerce markets.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Experience working with high-volume SKU/store-level CPG data across multiple retailers and KPIs.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience sharing insights with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proactive attitude with a ‘can-do’ approach.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Curious, analytical individual open to new challenges.
  • Solution-oriented and self-driven, confident in proposing ideas to improve current processes.

This is a hybrid role requiring 1 day/week in our London office.
