Location: East of England

Job Type: Interim – 6 months initially

1 day on site (can be flexible for the right person)

DBS: Basic DBS required

Our client is looking for a Senior Insight Analyst (intelligence) to join a team of talented professionals in a Local Council based in Cambridgeshire. To be considered, you must have strong knowledge of Power BI and Education/SEND experience. Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead high-quality data analysis and insights to support decision-making and policy development
2. Manage data extraction, transformation, and visualisation to support service delivery
3. Ensure the accuracy and quality of data for statutory reporting and performance monitoring
4. Communicate complex data clearly to stakeholders at all levels
5. Line manage analysts and oversee team performance
6. Use Power BI to build dashboards for Special Educational Needs data

Requirements:

1. Degree or equivalent experience in data analysis or a related field
2. Experience in Social/SEND/Education sectors is essential
3. Strong expertise in data analysis tools like Power BI
4. Experience with SQL, Python, R (coding languages)
5. Previous experience in the public sector, preferably local government
