Job summary

Qualient Technology Solutions UK Limited is seeking an experienced Clinical Coding - Delivery Manager to lead coding operations, quality, and service delivery while actively coding complex inpatient cases across multiple specialties. You will mentor teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure delivery of high-quality coding services against agreed performance targets.

You will collaborate with clinicians, monitor metrics, and enforce governance to sustain accuracy, throughput, and compliance

Qualifications

NCCQ Accredited Clinical Coder (ACC) or equivalent.
Clinical Coding Standards Refresher Certification completed within the last 3 years.
Degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing, Medical Sciences, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5+ years of post-accreditation clinical coding experience.
Proven experience coding inpatient episodes across multiple clinical specialties.
Demonstrated experience coding complex clinical cases independently.
Experience managing coding operations, productivity targets, and service delivery.
Experience using EHR, PAS, Encoder, and other healthcare information systems.
Experience working directly with clinicians and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead clinical coding operations, quality, and service delivery for inpatient cases across specialties.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior coders.
Allocate workloads, monitor backlogs, and ensure timely turnaround.
Ensure compliance with ICD-10, OPCS-4, and information governance.
Prepare regular performance reports, SLA metrics, and reviews.
Engage with clinicians and stakeholders to clarify diagnoses and documentation.
