Job summary

At Tain, we are seeking a Senior Security Engineer (Infrastructure) to strengthen security across cloud and on‑prem environments. The role collaborates with INO, Corporate IT and Platform Engineering to enforce scalable controls, improve visibility and resilience, and mature security practices in high‑availability setups.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a security-focused engineering role
• Strong infrastructure, cloud or network security background
• Understanding of Layer 3/4/7 security concepts
• Experience securing cloud, hybrid and on-prem environments
• Knowledge of networking, firewalling and segmentation
• Experience with Cloudflare/Akamai or similar
• Experience with SIEM, logging and monitoring
• IAM and privileged access management experience
• Kubernetes/container security experience
• Infrastructure-as-Code and automation familiarity

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and improve security controls across on-prem, cloud and edge environments
• Support security architecture and hardening for servers, cloud platforms, Kubernetes and infrastructure services
• Operate SIEM, alerts and monitoring platforms
• Lead Layer 7/web security initiatives including WAF, reverse proxy and API protection
• Manage edge security platforms such as Cloudflare or similar
• Oversee vulnerability management and security assessments
• Advance endpoint security and Defender capabilities across environments
• Support IAM and privileged access security initiatives
• Assess emerging infrastructure threats and tooling
• Coordinate with ISO/compliance to align controls with governance requirements
