Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a seasoned Project/Programme Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects in the UK. You will oversee delivery plans, budgets, and risk registers while coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires leadership in regulated environments and experience across aviation, civil, or water sector projects. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements are available to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Hold or be working towards a Project Management Qualification with APM, RICS or similar.
• Experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team.
• Delivery experience in construction projects, especially in live operational environments.
• Knowledge of pre and post contract Project Management responsibilities and able to deliver this service effectively to Clients.
• The ability to manage a project throughout its lifecycle, with proven experience in aviation, civil, or water sector projects.
• Experience in regulated environments and internal and external governance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality project and programme management standards across the whole project lifecycle.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and milestones.
• Advise clients on project cost, programme, risks, and issues.
• Manage multi-disciplinary professional teams.
• Maintain communications and relationships with clients and their stakeholders.
• Produce monthly reports including project programmes, risk registers, etc.
• Implement effective and efficient communication tools.
• Develop delivery plans for projects, involve others, and ensure objectives are met.
• Challenge the status quo and perform to a high standard in changing environments.
• Constantly pursue performance improvement.
