Pax8 UK Limited is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid role based in Farnborough with Bristol as an option. You will lead infrastructure, cloud, networking and telephony initiatives to keep our systems reliable, secure and scalable across regions.

The role emphasizes mentoring engineers, improving automation, and shaping documentation and processes to raise engineering standards. A strong background in Azure/AWS and IaC is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience across cloud platforms, infrastructure, networking, servers and telephony.
• Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting ability, especially with complex, multi‑system issues.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, with Google Cloud Platform experience beneficial.
• Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation.

Responsibilities

• Leading complex infrastructure, cloud, networking and telephony work that keeps systems reliable, secure and scalable.
• Supporting and improving services across Azure, AWS, hosted cloud environments, servers and enterprise networking.
• Driving automation across manual processes using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet or PowerShell.
• Mentoring engineers across different technical levels and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
