Job summary

Catering in Peterborough is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer on a contract basis with the potential to move to a permanent role. The role covers civil and infrastructure schemes from design through construction, including drainage and highways, in retail, commercial and office sectors.

Autonomy and strong client-facing skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of consultancy experience, a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, and proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ consultancy experience.
• Ability to work autonomously on a varied portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tenders, technical reports and consent applications.
• Design foul and surface water drainage, highways and wider infrastructure schemes.
• Lead projects and act as client-facing senior engineer across schemes in retail, commercial and offices.
