Job summary

Catering in Peterborough is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer on a contract basis with the potential to move to a permanent role. The role covers civil and infrastructure schemes from design through construction, including drainage and highways, in retail, commercial and office sectors.

Autonomy and strong client-facing skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of consultancy experience, a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, and proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage

Infrastructure Engineer – Contract

Peterborough

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a busy consultancy in Peterborough on a contract basis, with the potential to move into a permanent position for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will have senior-level consultancy experience and be confident taking a lead role across a varied portfolio of projects, including new-build and refurbishment schemes within the retail, commercial and office sectors.

A degree or HND in Civil Engineering is preferred, together with a minimum of 5 years’ consultancy experience and the ability to work autonomously. Experience should include advising on, planning, designing and project managing civil and infrastructure schemes through to construction.

Strong technical and client-facing skills are essential, with responsibilities including the preparation of tenders, technical reports and consent applications, alongside the design of foul and surface water drainage, highways and wider infrastructure schemes.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage and PDS is required, while experience in preparing Flood Risk Assessments would be advantageous.
