An urgent requirement has arisen for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer or Technician to join a market leading consultancy on a contract basis to work on various major residential developments across Kent, Surrey and Hampshire. You will be needed in our clients Sevenoaks office 4 days per week for the first 3 months, and 3 days per week thereafter. This position is a full-time role and is likely to fall outside IR35 (subject to an assessment).
The role:
·Utilising software such as Civil 3D, Causeway Flow, and SuDs for project implementation
·Designing and managing highways alignments and surface water systems for residential projects
·Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure successful project delivery
·Conducting site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project planning
·Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
·Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
·Providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers within the team
Key experience required:
·Proficiency in designing highways alignments and surface water systems
·Experience in Civil 3D, Causeway Flow, and SuDs
·Experience working on residential build projects
·Strong understanding of infrastructure planning and development
·Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
·Good communication and teamwork abilities
·Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
·Experience in overseeing and mentoring junior engineers
