Sopra Steria’s Aerospace, Defence and Security sector is recruiting for an experienced Messaging and IAM Engineer to support messaging and IAM strategy for a flagship account. The role is based on site at Newport, with approximately 4 days per week in the office.

You will handle BAU tickets, participate in high-profile European-wide projects, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of messaging and IAM capabilities. UK nationals eligible for SC clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with on-prem Exchange environments (2019 preferred).
• Experience managing patching schedules across Exchange with SU updates.
• Understanding of Email/Messaging AV and Spam protection (Cisco ESA or Fortimail a plus).
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory at Enterprise/Multi Forest scale.
• Strong understanding of AD domains, OUs and GPOs.
• Strong troubleshooting and investigation skills including root cause analysis and effective problem resolution.
• Single Sign-On/PKI knowledge.

Do you have a proven track record working as a Messaging Engineer with some knowledge of IAM? Sopra Steria’s Aerospace, Defence and Security sector are currently recruiting for an experienced Messaging and IAM Engineer to support on the delivery of Messaging and IAM strategy for a flagship account within the business. This role is pivotal for the team covering both Messaging and IAM BAU activities as well as working on high-profile projects in the aerospace industry. If you are looking for an opportunity to play a key role in progressing Messaging and IAM strategy in an exciting industry, this role is for you.

This role is based on site at one of our regional hubs (Newport, Portsmouth or Stevenage) approximately 4 days per week.

Due to the nature of the client, we are only able to progress with sole British nationals who are eligible for SC clearance.

What you’ll be doing:

• Key team member for technical escalations.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong experience with on-prem Exchange environments (2019 preferrable)

• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory at Enterprise/Multi Forest scale
• A good understanding of Active Directory, Domain structure and Group Policies (AD, OU, GPO)
• Strong troubleshooting and investigation skills including root cause analysis and effective problem resolution.
• Single Sign-on/PKI knowledge
