Job summary

Cognisant is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major infrastructure workstreams for a large mixed-use master development in London and the South East. You will manage procurement, planning and delivery across highways, utilities, drainage and civils from strategy through handover.

Reporting to the senior infrastructure leadership team, you will coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors and local authorities, ensuring NEC/JCT frameworks and CDM standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex infrastructure projects (highways, utilities, drainage, civils) and managing multiple workstreams.
• Strong consultant and contractor management experience.
• Experience with NEC and/or JCT procurement.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, programmes and risks.
• Relevant construction/engineering/PM qualification.

Responsibilities

• Leading major infrastructure workstreams from inception through to completion.
• Developing project scopes, programmes, budgets, cashflows and delivery strategies.
• Procuring and managing multidisciplinary consultant teams.
• Supporting contractor procurement, tendering and contract administration.
• Managing planning requirements, technical approvals and statutory agreements.
• Monitoring programme, budget, risk, change and project performance.
• Reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
• Working with commercial teams on procurement strategy, variations and value engineering.
• Managing contractors through construction, completion and defects.
• Ensuring health & safety, environmental, quality and CDM standards.
• Coordinating internal teams, consultants, contractors, local authorities and other key stakeholders.
