Job summary

Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking an Associate Director of Infrastructure: PFI & Contracting to lead the senior commercial agenda for PFI and major long-term contracts in West Yorkshire. You will shape strategy, oversee performance, risk, governance and financial oversight, and interact with SPV, providers and the Board.

The role requires strong commercial judgement, the ability to partner effectively, and experience across complex, outsourced arrangements.

Qualifications

• Senior leader with experience in long-term outsourced contracts.
• Experience in PFI and major commercial partnerships.
• Ability to translate complex contracts into strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial portfolio for PFI and complex infra contracts.
• Provide strategic leadership across contract performance, financial oversight, lifecycle and governance.
• Advise senior leadership and the Board; act as principal interface with SPV and partners.
• Develop teams and strengthen organisational capability.
