Job summary

Clearwater People Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to join its Security team. The role will support the Information Security Manager in embedding security into IT projects, change initiatives and operations, with a focus on Microsoft cloud security.

Responsibilities include secure design and configuration of Microsoft cloud services (Azure, Microsoft 365), configuring MS Sentinel and Defender, Azure firewalls, and providing risk assessments and security consultancy

Qualifications

• Secure design, configuration and assurance of Microsoft cloud services including Azure and Microsoft 365
• Hands-on cloud security to assess project designs, define security requirements and validate solutions
• Security tooling configuration and risk-based consultancy across projects

Job description

An established organisation is currently recruiting a Senior Information Security Analystto join their Security team. The Senior Information Security Analystwill be responsible for supporting the Information Security Manager in ensuring that security is effectively embedded into IT projects, change initiatives and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Information Security Analyst:

• Provide secure design, configuration and assurance of Microsoft cloud services, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and associated security, identity, compliance and monitoring tooling
• Use hands‑on Microsoft cloud security expertise to assess project designs, define security requirements, validate delivered solutions
• Configure MS Sentinel and MS Defender as well as Azure firewalls
• Provide security and risk assessment consultancy on projects, change initiatives, and other formal workgroups and committees. Assessing security risk and directing the design and implementation of appropriate security controls to effectively manage the risks.

Skills Required for the Senior Information Security Analyst:

• Experience configuring MS Sentinel and MS Defender as well as Azure firewalls
• A background in Security Project Work
• Designing and validate security solutions for projects
