Job summary

Clearwater People Solutions is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to support the Information Security Manager in embedding security into IT projects, changes and operations.

You will design, implement and review cloud security controls across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, configure MS Sentinel and Defender, and provide risk consultancy to project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring MS Sentinel and MS Defender as well as Azure firewalls.
• Background in Security Project Work.
• Designing and validating security solutions for projects.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide secure design, configuration and assurance of Microsoft cloud services, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and associated security, identity, compliance and monitoring tooling.
• Use hands-on Microsoft cloud security expertise to assess project designs, define security requirements, validate delivered solutions.
• Configure MS Sentinel and MS Defender as well as Azure firewalls.
• Provide security and risk assessment consultancy on projects, change initiatives, and other formal workgroups and committees.

The Senior Information Security Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Information Security Manager in ensuring that security is effectively embedded into IT projects, change initiatives and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Information Security Analyst:

• Provide secure design, configuration and assurance of Microsoft cloud services, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and associated security, identity, compliance and monitoring tooling
• Use hands-on Microsoft cloud security expertise to assess project designs, define security requirements, validate delivered solutions
• Configure MS Sentinel and MS Defender as well as Azure firewalls
• Provide security and risk assessment consultancy on projects, change initiatives, and other formal workgroups and committees. Assessing security risk and directing the design and implementation of appropriate security controls to effectively manage the risks.
