Job summary

Barclay Simpson is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to shape security across an Azure/M365 estate. The role is hands-on with Azure security, CA, Defender/Sentinel, and automation, while also influencing controls, risk and design beyond pure engineering.

Working as part of the security function, you will advise on secure delivery and act as a bridge between project delivery and security operations, shaping tooling and approaches as the cloud estate grows.

Qualifications

• Senior Information Security Analyst with Azure/M365 experience.
• Technical Azure security focus including Conditional Access, Defender and Sentinel.
• Ability to influence controls, risk and design beyond engineering.

Job description

This well-established, purpose-led organisation is currently going through a significant Microsoft cloud transformation. They are seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to help shape security across their Azure/M365 estate. This is a great role for someone who enjoys being technically close to Azure security, Conditional Access, Defender/Sentinel and automation, but who also wants the opportunity to influence security controls, risk and design rather than purely being an engineer.

Working as part of the established security function, you will have genuine input into the controls, tooling and security approach as the cloud estate develops. You will act as a security consultant across the organisation’s change portfolio, advising on secure delivery and acting as a bridge between project delivery and security operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone living in the Kent area (the role requires 2 days a week in the West Malling area) who enjoys operating across cloud security, technical security assurance and risk, and who has the technical knowledge of Microsoft and Azure to challenge designs and support automation across a growing Microsoft cloud estate.

Base salary £65-72k (depending on experience).
