Location & Role Details

Based in Liverpool (Central), this hybrid role is a 12-month fixed-term contract within a growing organization. It combines governance, risk & compliance with technical security work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a trusted advisor on information security risks.
2. Develop and maintain security frameworks, policies, and procedures.
3. Lead third-party risk assessments and security audits.
4. Collaborate on vulnerability management and remediation.
5. Contribute to secure system design and architecture.
6. Monitor security tools and incident response processes.
7. Promote security awareness across the organization.
8. Represent the InfoSec function in meetings and leadership activities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Approximately 5 years of cybersecurity experience, including GRC and technical roles.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, or similar frameworks.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to business stakeholders.
• Leadership qualities and proactive risk management skills.
• Ability to influence across multiple business units.
