This Senior Designer role is within the BBC Verify live team, which presents its reporting in a real-time, live format (often called a "live blog") to BBC audiences worldwide.
You will develop and deliver digital infographic content, ensuring it meets high creative and editorial standards in line with BBC guidelines.
As a Senior Designer, you will work on a variety of stories, producing distinctive digital content. Your role involves visualizing verification, bringing satellite imagery to life, creating maps, and executing everything from simple diagrams to complex data visualizations.
Collaborating with the BBC Verify team, you will play a central role in open-source reporting, translating editorial content and audience needs into innovative, inclusive experiences across all platforms—digital, broadcast, and social.
You will work with infographic designers, motion designers, UX designers, open-source analysts, journalists, data journalists, data scientists, TV producers, and web developers.
