Job summary

Vax, part of Global Floorcare under Techtronic Industries, seeks a Senior Industrial Design Engineer to transform ideas into desirable, manufacturable floorcare products. You will develop concepts, create high-quality CAD models and renders, and contribute to CMF and visual brand language, across multiple teams.

You will support design research, prototype UX features, and collaborate with engineering to deliver user-centered, premium products that strengthen the brand worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial, Product or UX Design or equivalent.
• Excellent CAD, Sketching and Presentation skills.
• Proven ability to rapidly produce high quality renders.
• Experience with Design Research Methodologies (IDEO, Design Thinking, Human Centred Design).

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling product concepts and designs.
• Create high-quality CAD models & renders.
• Drive ergonomic and user experience excellence in designs.
• Develop & contribute to CMF and Visual Brand Language.
• Design & build compelling visual models and UX prototypes.
• Support design research and validation activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering to deliver A-Surface Intent.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering to integrate UI/HMI Features.
• Communicate design intent to business and key stakeholders.

• Experience in Design Research Methodologies (IDEO, Design Thinking, Human Centred Design)
