Location: Swindon (including hybrid) or full home working option available.

The opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Senior Claims Assessor proficient in Income Protection, Life, and Critical Illness, to join our dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity to impact our customers’ lives positively while advancing your career within a global insurance leader. We provide modular training to handle Critical Illness and Life Claims to support your growth into a Senior Claims Assessor.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Claims Assessor, you will evaluate and process claims related to Income Protection, Critical Illness, and Life. Your expertise will ensure customers receive support during challenging times. You will collaborate with policyholders, medical professionals, and stakeholders to gather information, assess claims fairly, and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate claims according to policy terms.
• Review medical reports, employment records, and relevant documentation.
• Communicate effectively with claimants, medical professionals, and internal teams.
• Make timely, fair decisions, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments and communications.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members.
