Job summary

Buro Happold is seeking a Senior Inclusive Environments Consultant to help shape spaces for diverse users. You will embed inclusive thinking from strategy through detailed design across workplaces, education, culture, transport, and urban developments in the UK and beyond.

The role offers hybrid working across multiple UK locations and opportunities to lead workstreams, influence design decisions and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Background in inclusive design, accessibility or related built environment discipline.
• Experience collaborating with architects, engineers and clients.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.

Responsibilities

• Undertake inclusive design reviews and accessibility audits across project scales and locations.
• Advise clients and teams on accessibility, inclusivity, neuroinclusion and user experience.
• Lead workstreams or projects and manage client relationships where applicable.
• Prepare clear reports and actionable guidance for project teams and stakeholders.
• Support business development, bids and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to presentations, workshops and project discussions.
