Job summary

Trafford Council is seeking an experienced practitioner to lead inclusive practice across Family Hubs for babies and young children with emerging needs. You will provide specialist guidance, oversee Best Start Inclusion Practitioners and work with health, education and SEND partners to ensure timely support.

You will foster partnerships, drive early intervention, and help reduce inequalities so every child has the best start in life. DBS checks are required and the post is office-based.

Qualifications

• Experience in inclusive practice and early intervention with families.
• Strong understanding of child development and SEND needs.
• Proven ability to build effective cross-service partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead inclusive practice across Family Hubs and provide specialist guidance.
• Oversee Best Start Inclusion Practitioners and coordinate with health, education and SEND partners.
• Champion early intervention to improve outcomes for babies and children.
