Three Doors is seeking an Experience Designer (Escape-Room Expert) to craft a 90-minute immersive experience. You’ll design story beats, puzzles, and pacing in collaboration with the founder and production designer.

The initial engagement is a 20-day paid sprint, with potential for ongoing design work and IP‑driven development. You bring a portfolio of immersive experiences, a theory of why moments land, and a track record in branching narratives.

Qualificações

• Designed at least three immersive experiences or top-tier escape rooms that people have played and rated highly.
• Possess a theory of why a moment works and be able to explain it.
• Experience designing for branching outcomes (mult-path immersive, narrative games, or RPG modules).
• Balance storytelling with generating clean behavioural signals without compromising one for the other.
• Comfortable with iterative design; early versions may be wrong, the third version is the goal.

Responsabilidades

• Design room-by-room beats, puzzles, and branching paths for a 90-minute experience.
• Create puzzle logic that is solvable by mixed-ability teams and doubles as behavioural signals.
• Develop the three-doors mechanic: how choices are staged, distinguished, and how consequences are delivered.
• Craft branching narrative logic to ripple decisions without combinatorial explosion.
• Conduct playtests and write design notes to guide iteration.
