Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is recruiting an experienced MET Technician for a Manchester role with an attractive hourly rate and uncapped bonus structure. You will handle mechanical and electrical components, dismantle and rebuild vehicles, and perform diagnostics to ensure quality repairs.

The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 24 days holiday, life assurance, and a range of employee perks as part of a secure, permanent role.

Qualifications

• Experience as MET Technician.
• Hybrid training is required.
• ADAS accreditation desirable.
• ATA/NVQ qualifications advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Remove and refit mechanical and electrical components to a high standard.
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles following repair instructions.
• Identify and report additional or unseen damage.
• Carry out 4-wheel alignment and geometry checks.
• Perform suspension and mechanical repairs.
• Conduct diagnostics and general mechanical work.

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced MET Technician to join a well-established team in Manchester, offering up to £24 per hour plus an uncapped bonus scheme and an excellent benefits package with bonus starting at 75% efficiency.

The Role

• Removing and refitting mechanical and electrical components to a high standard
• Dismantling and rebuilding vehicles following repair instructions
• Identifying and reporting any additional or unseen damage
• Carrying out 4-wheel alignment and geometry
• Suspension and mechanical repairs
• Diagnostics and general mechanical work
• Ensuring all repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working as an MET Technician
• Strong mechanical knowledge and repair skills
• Hybrid training is required
• ADAS accreditation is highly desirable
• ATA / NVQ qualifications are advantageous but not essential
• A professional approach with a strong focus on quality and safety
