Job summary

Ferguson Dean Limited, a London-based IFA practice, seeks an adviser to take over an existing HNW portfolio (~£60m AUM) and to join a regionally backed firm. You will deliver exceptional client service, supported by paraplanning and admin, while focusing on client needs and compliant file-keeping.

The role involves reviewing portfolios, transitioning clients, and identifying additional opportunities within a private client-focused practice.

Qualifications

• Diploma Level 4 as a minimum, ideally working towards Chartered.
• Ability to manage and maximise portfolios, in line with TCF and FCA requirements.
• Knowledge of general planning and also ideally VCT, EIS and IHT matters.
• Use of Cash Flow modelling, ideally Voyant, would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio reviews with existing clients.
• Transition clients across with the business owner.
• Identify other needs for clients and potential referrals.
• Maintain up-to-date and compliant client files in conjunction with the technical team.
• Keep up to date CPD.
• Actively seek out new client opportunities as required.
