Job summary

Ferguson Dean, a respected IFA practice in Cannock, seeks an adviser to take over an existing HNW client portfolio (~£20m AUM) across ages and life stages.

You'll focus on delivering exceptional client service while paraplanning and administration are provided; CPD and regulatory compliance are essential as you transition clients with the owner.

Qualifications

• Diploma Level 4 minimum; Chartered preferred.
• Experience managing portfolios for high-net-worth clients is desirable.
• Knowledge of planning tools and investment strategies beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio reviews with existing clients.
• Transitioning clients to the new adviser with the owner.
• Identify additional client needs and referrals.
• Maintain up-to-date and compliant client files with the technical team.
• Keep CPD up to date.
• Proactively seek new client opportunities as required.

Job description

A highly respected, successful IFA practice in Cannock have been acquired by a leading regional firm. As such, they are looking for an adviser to join them to take over an existing portfolio of HNW clients. There is c. £20m AUM to manage with most clients across all ages/life phases. Clients are broadly in the c.£300k plus space. All paraplanning and administration will be provided, allowing you to focus on provided exceptional client service.

The Role

• Portfolio reviews with existing clients.


• Working with the business owner to transition clients across.


• Identifying other needs for clients, as well as any referrals possible


• Maintaining up to date and compliant client files in conjunction with the technical team.


• Keeping up to date CPD


• Actively seeking out new client opportunities as required

The candidate

• Diploma Level 4 as a minimum, ideally working towards Chartered


• Ability to manage and maximise portfolios, in line with TCF and FCA requirements


• Knowledge of general planning and also ideally VCT, EIS and IHT matter.


• Use of Cash Flow modelling, ideally Voyant, would be beneficial but not essential
