Ferguson Dean is seeking an experienced Adviser in Chester to take over a high-value client portfolio. The role involves reviewing existing clients, collaborating with the retiring adviser on the portfolio, and applying cash flow modelling and lifestyle financial planning as needed.

You will handle complex needs including IHT, VCT, EIS and SIPP/SSAS schemes, while ensuring compliant files and ongoing CPD. The position offers strong salary potential and executive benefits.

Qualifications

Job description

A prestigious Chartered IFA practice in Chester are looking for an Adviser to join them to take over a client portfolio. The MD of the business is looking to step into more of a Chairman role, and as such he is looking for an individual to take over c. £50m to £60m of his portfolio. Clients are broadly in the £500k to £2m range with full paraplanning and admin support.

Role will include:

• Portfolio reviews with existing clients.
• Working with the retiring adviser on their client portfolio.
• Using cash flow modelling and lifestyle financial planning as required.
• Understanding a client's needs and having proficiency in more complex matters, especially IHT, VCT, EIS and SIPP/SSAS schemes.
• Maintaining up to date and compliant client files in conjunction with the technical team.
