You will help shape the Identity Platform's technical direction, balancing security, performance, and developer usability, while mentoring teams and driving engineering excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Senior software engineer with significant experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems serving millions of users.
• Strong experience with Java and/or Kotlin and modern backend development frameworks.
• Experience designing secure, scalable services in cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve secure, scalable authentication and identity services used by millions of customers and colleagues.
• Own features end-to-end, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Shape the technical direction of the Identity Platform balancing customer experience, security, and performance.
• Develop resilient APIs and backend services enabling secure authentication, authorisation, and identity management.
• Champion engineering excellence through clean, maintainable, well-tested code and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
