Job summary

RED, an international M&E consultancy, seeks a Senior ICT & Security Engineer to be based in London, Bicester or Newcastle. You will lead medium-scale projects, perform cost and profit diagnosis, and represent the company in technical meetings.

You will coordinate ICT infrastructure design and oversee delivery in line with the RED Project Delivery Process, liaising with clients and project teams while mentoring trainees.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in ICT infrastructure engineering.
• 5–10 years of relevant employment experience.

Responsibilities

• Carries out cost and profit diagnosis on projects including feasibility studies and preparation of fee bids.
• Reviews status advised by project personnel and external parties and modifies schedules or plans as required.
• Prepares project reports for Management, Client or others.
• Represents Company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors’ teams.
• Support the delivery of projects in accordance with the expectations of the RED Project Delivery Process from a Project Management, Financial Management, QA/QC and Technical Review perspective.
• Day to day decision making on project progress and direct liaison with, and provides advice to client.
• Responsible for running of medium size projects.
• Undertakes a client facing role in the development and design and coordination of engineering project services for ICT/Security installations, systems, equipment, facilities etc.
• Responsible for technical content and accuracy of Trainee, Graduates and Engineers
