Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an ICT Network Engineer to contribute to the full design lifecycle, from bid support through to implementation, testing and client engagement. The role involves working in multidisciplinary teams, travel to mainland locations, and occasional overseas assignments.

Security vetting will be required for offers of employment. You will develop active network designs, support enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN projects, assist with testing and commissioning, and prepare detailed

Qualifications

• Experience of ICT network design and delivery.
• Knowledge of enterprise LAN, WAN and WLAN technologies.
• Knowledge of routing, switching and network security principles.
• Understanding of network monitoring and management systems.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports and presentations.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Developing active network designs, schematics, technical documentation and specifications.
• Supporting the design and delivery of enterprise LAN, WAN and WLAN solutions.
• Assisting with implementation, migration, testing and commissioning activities.
• Producing technical reports, design documentation and installation specifications.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal engineering disciplines.
• Supporting project delivery activities across all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Assisting with business development activities including PQQ and ITT responses.
