Job summary

Arup in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior ICT Consultant to join the Technology Consulting team within Digital Services. You will take a lead role delivering ICT infrastructure design projects, interfacing with clients and supervising junior staff.

You should have deep knowledge of cabling systems, fibre and copper, space planning and 3D modelling with AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks. This role involves site work and occasional travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Delivery of ICT infrastructure design projects across data centres, aviation, roads, tunnels and commercial property.
• In-depth knowledge of optical fibre cabling, copper structured cabling, and ICT spaces.
• Ability to write clear reports and technical diagrams for non-technical audiences.
• Experience in AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks for 3D design models.

Responsibilities

• Capture and interpret client ICT infrastructure requirements.
• Lead ICT infrastructure design from concept to construction.
• Oversee junior staff and quality assure work.
• Travel to UK and abroad as projects require.
