Job summary

Square One Resources Limited is recruiting an IAM Design SME to lead next-generation identity architectures in a major financial services transformation. You will translate complex requirements into secure, scalable designs and collaborate with Architects, security specialists and engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.

Based in Sheffield, the role is onsite with a competitive daily rate and a contract end date in December 2026.

Qualifications

Extensive experience designing enterprise IAM solutions within large organisations.
Expertise in authentication, authorization, Zero Trust and federation protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM).
Proven ability to design cloud-native identity solutions on GCP and Kubernetes.
Strong skills in Policy-as-Code, PDPs/PEPs, secrets management and PKI integration.
Experience leading architecture governance and senior stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Define and deliver next-generation IAM capabilities with architects and engineers.
Produce HLDs/LLDs and ensure alignment with security standards.
Design authentication, authorization, federation and Zero Trust architectures.
Develop cloud-native identity solutions across GCP and Kubernetes.
Lead architecture reviews and document decisions; mentor teams.
