Job summary

Squarepoint is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead IAM strategy across hybrid environments and drive secure-by-design principles throughout our technology stack. You will partner with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to translate complex security concepts into scalable solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in IAM technologies, cloud and on-premises controls, and a strong understanding of the financial services regulatory landscape.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information security, with at least 4 years in security architecture
• Deep expertise in IAM technologies (Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, Ping Identity, CyberArk, SailPoint, BeyondTrust)
• Strong knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, Kerberos, LDAP)
• Hands-on experience with cloud and on-premises security controls (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in financial services regulatory landscape and threat management
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Define and own IAM security architecture strategy across hybrid environments
• Design and implement secure solutions leveraging PAM, SSO, MFA, and IGA platforms
• Architect security controls in cloud and on-premises infrastructures
• Embed security by design into development, automation, and CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the security team
• Align with GRC, SOC, and IT to regulatory requirements for financial services
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and provide leadership recommendations
• Develop security architecture standards, reference architectures, and design patterns
