Job summary

Stott and May seeks a Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Consultant to support a major transformation programme. This hybrid role requires hands-on design experience and senior engineering or tech lead background.

You will lead IAM strategy, architecture, RBAC, PAM, governance, and operate with business and technical teams, vendors, and security frameworks such as ISO 27001/NIST.

Qualifications

• Senior IAM experience with design/architecture focus.
• Hands-on IAM implementation and governance.
• Security framework knowledge (ISO 27001, NIST).

Responsibilities

• Lead and advise on IAM strategy, architecture and best practices.
• Deliver IAM capabilities: Joiners/Movers/Leavers, RBAC, PAM, governance reviews.
• Oversee authentication and access management implementations.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and third-party suppliers.
• Define IAM controls, policies and governance frameworks.
• Establish procedures, reporting, KPIs and service performance measures.
• Support migration from legacy to modern IAM operating model.
• Apply cybersecurity expertise and hands-on IAM know-how.
• Manage stakeholders and vendors; uphold security standards.
• Align with ISO 27001 and NIST guidance; pursue relevant certifications.
