Job Description

My Client, a market leading multidisciplinary Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Hydrogeologist to join a supportive and friendly team. Applicants are required to have a BSc and MSc in Hydrogeology and experience working for an Environmental Consultancy completing Hydrogeological Risk Assessments, Ground Water Monitoring, and experience working on Geothermal or De-watering Projects. It is beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing Water Resource Projects. This exciting role offers the opportunity to join an experienced team in Shrewsbury.

Candidates will have the opportunity to work on varied projects including Surface Water, Environmental, Water Resources, Ground Water Monitoring, Ground Water Modelling, and De-Watering projects for Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to re-wetting and natural flood management projects. Responsibilities include:

1. Managing projects and supporting junior team members
2. Completing technical work such as Hydrogeological Risk Assessments
3. Water Resource Assessments
4. Water Impact Assessments
5. Ground Water Monitoring
6. Surface Water Management Plans
7. Groundwater Modelling using Modflow
8. Water Resource and Abstraction Impact Assessments
