Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join the Hydrogeology team at the Severn Trent Centre in Coventry. You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, providing hydrogeological expertise to safeguard groundwater resources and support water quality and asset management.

You will collaborate with regulators and stakeholders, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to strategic projects across the business, delivering robust evidence to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Experienced hydrogeologist with a MSc in Hydrogeology or closely related discipline.
• Proven track record in hydrogeology or water resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide hydrogeological expertise to support groundwater operations and asset improvements.
• Assess groundwater quality and abstraction risks; develop sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with regulators and stakeholders to protect groundwater resources.
• Deliver training on groundwater and assets to personnel.
• Maintain and enhance groundwater and asset data to inform decisions.
