Job summary

Envireau Ltd seeks a Senior or Principal Hydrogeologist to join our UK offices in Bristol, Shrewsbury, Derby, Richmond, Stirling, or Manchester. You will lead or support complex licensing and groundwater management projects, including dewatering, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for clients and regulators.

You will manage a portfolio, mentor junior staff, and build strong client relationships while staying current with hydrogeology developments and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or related discipline.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership.
• Strong knowledge of groundwater resource assessments, impact and risk assessments.
• Proven team and project management experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support hydrogeological investigations and fieldwork.
• Provide expert advice on groundwater management and licensing.
• Manage a portfolio of projects with timely delivery and budget control.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior staff on project management and strategy.
