Got 5+ years’ Hydrogeology experience and looking for more ownership of projects without moving away from the technical work?
This Newcastle role combines technical Hydrogeology with responsibility for project delivery, clients and less experienced team members. You’ll work across water environment and hydrogeological assessment projects, taking work from initial planning and investigation through to assessment and reporting.
You’ll be involved in:
Projects span renewables, infrastructure, power, industrial and built environment sectors, working alongside environmental, planning and engineering specialists.
You’ll have 5+ years’ experience delivering UK Hydrogeology or water environment projects, ideally including EIA work, backed by a degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Geoscience or a related discipline.
You’ll need experience across areas such as hydrogeological assessment, water monitoring, risk assessment or abstraction licensing, together with a good understanding of UK water legislation and regulatory requirements.
Strong technical reporting and communication skills are important. GIS, analysis or modelling software experience would be useful rather than essential.
You’ll be Chartered or working towards Chartered status and will need a driving licence that allows you to drive legally in the UK for site visits.
