Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join our River and Coastal Management team. Based in the UK with flexible home/office balance, you will lead hydraulic modelling studies and collaborate with environmental, transport and civils disciplines on major infrastructure schemes.

You will guide methods, deliver flood studies to schedule and budget, communicate with clients and regulators, and mentor junior staff while contributing to fee proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience in hydraulic modelling and/or hydrology for flood risk projects.
• Ability to devise methodologies aligned with client briefs and guidance.
• Experience leading reviews and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in multidisciplinary river and coastal projects across the UK.
• Deliver flood studies within time and cost constraints and present findings.
• Prepare fee proposals and contribute to project management aspects.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members and review their work.
