Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join its River and Coastal Management team. The role offers a mix of home and office work across the UK, with projects spanning flood risk, river restoration and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• You should be BSc/BEng/MEng qualified with a focus on hydrology or hydraulics.
• You should be chartered (or en route to chartership) by a professional body.
• Experience with hydraulic modelling and flood risk studies using recognised software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver hydraulic modelling studies for river and coastal projects.
• Communicate findings through reports and presentations to clients and regulators.
• Support planning applications and assist in fee proposals.
• Mentor junior team members and review their work.
