Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the development of our cloud data platform, building trusted, secure data pipelines and a modern data warehouse to support fundraising decisions.

In this hands-on role you will design, implement and optimise data pipelines, mentor a Data Engineer, and collaborate with stakeholders across the charity to translate needs into scalable data solutions while maintaining high standards for quality, security and

Qualifications

• Experience designing cloud data platforms and pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills with data modelling experience.
• Experience building a SQL-based data warehouse; Snowflake is valuable.
• Experience integrating data between systems via APIs/connectors.
• Strong data quality, security and governance practices.
• Ability to mentor other data professionals and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of the cloud data platform.
• Design, build and optimise data pipelines and transformations.
