Job summary
Domestic & General Group is seeking a Senior Network Reliability Engineer for a permanent hybrid role based around our Wimbledon office. You will own the reliability, performance and security of our hybrid Azure network, lead major incident resolution, and drive automation and observability across our estate.
You’ll work with Azure networking, SD-WAN, security appliances and IaC tools, mentoring engineers and collaborating with Cloud, Security and Engineering teams to deliver resilient, scalable
Qualifications
- Experience with Azure networking and hybrid connectivity.
- Experience with enterprise networking: routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, DNS, VPNs.
- Experience with network security devices and Zero Trust concepts.
Responsibilities
- Own the reliability, performance and availability of Azure and hybrid network services.
- Act as the senior escalation point for major incidents and complex technical issues.
- Design and enhance Azure networking, connectivity and security solutions.
- Support and optimise technologies including F5 BIG-IP, Cisco ASA, Check Point, Zscaler and SD-WAN.
- Drive network modernisation, simplification and automation initiatives.
- Implement monitoring, Infrastructure as Code and operational best practices.
- Partner with Cloud, Security and Engineering teams to deliver resilient, scalable solutions.
