Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Glasgow is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary Plants & Civil teams delivering HVDC converter station projects.

You will develop execution strategies, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinate interfaces across electrical, civil, and plant engineering disciplines. Collaboration with the Plants Lead Engineer, Project Engineering Manager, customers, and contractors will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Proven experience delivering HVDC or large-scale power projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams across civil, electrical, and plant disciplines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary Plants & Civil teams to deliver HVDC converter station projects.
• Develop and implement execution strategies for Plant and Civil scope.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and change control.
• Coordinate interfaces across electrical, civil, and plant engineering disciplines.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
