Job summary

Futurebuild Recruitment seeks a highly skilled HVAC Technician/Supervisor with 10+ years of hands-on experience in air conditioning and refrigeration. You will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across commercial and industrial sites, reading diagrams and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in HVAC, air conditioning and refrigeration.
• City & Guilds Level 3 in Heating & Ventilation.
• F-Gas Certification (Category 1).
• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).
• First Aid at Work certified.
• Manual Handling trained.
• Working at Height & Harness Training.
• Fire Marshall certified.
• Abrasive Wheels trained.
• IPAF 3a, 3b (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms).
• Full UK Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across commercial and industrial environments.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely solutions.
• Collaborate with other trades and on-site contractors as needed.
