Job summary

NUVIA is seeking a Senior Building Services Engineer (HVAC) for a permanent hybrid role in Warrington. The role focuses on defining and distributing the scope of work to ensure safe, timely delivery and high-quality design across our nuclear, defence and energy projects.

You will deliver design documents, lead design teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and support site surveys, installation and commissioning. A strong background in Building Services and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of fundamentals within engineering discipline.
• Experience in Building Services design (Ventilation & Piped Services).
• Proven track record of delivering design solutions.
• Good understanding of safety legislation and statutory regulations.
• Experience leading design teams and managing sub-contracts.
• Experience of bid preparation.

Responsibilities

• Development of designs and documentation to satisfy the technical specification
• Production of design deliverables throughout the design process
• Checking/approval of discipline specific design deliverables
• Contribution to design reviews and safety reviews
• Ensuring quality and timely delivery of design documentation throughout all phases of the design process
• Compliance with safety legislation, industry codes and standards and statutory regulations
