Deploy Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Senior Primary Design Engineer to lead the design of primary engineering solutions for HV substations and power infrastructure, delivering high-quality work while mentoring junior engineers. The role offers hybrid or remote working with close collaboration to project teams, clients, and multidisciplinary groups.

You will ensure designs meet UK/international standards and client specifications.

Qualifikationen

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant HV substations primary design experience (33kV-400kV).
• Knowledge of UK and international standards; chartered status desirable.

Aufgaben

• Lead the design and development of primary engineering solutions for HV substations and associated infrastructure.
• Produce and review layouts, GA drawings, equipment specifications, and technical reports.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, client specifications, and safety requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, checking, and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project planning, cost estimates, and risk assessment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards.
