Job summary

Lucy Electric is seeking an experienced HV Senior Authorised Person to lead and deliver high‑voltage projects across the UK. You will plan outages, author safety RAMS, and ensure compliance with Lucy Electric standards while coordinating with engineers, sub-contractors, and utilities.

The role is home-based with site travel, requires flexibility to work overtime, and a strong safety mindset. UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in electrical/distribution industry.
• Holds full SAP Authorisation including sanction for test (UKPN/SSEN or other DNO).
• Certified in electricity at work and able to deliver services on site or from office.

Responsibilities

• Lead major projects and smaller works from planning to completion.
• Plan outages, produce switching programmes and safety RAMS.
• Ensure compliance with Lucy Electric standards and customer procedures.
• Coordinate site work with engineers, sub-contractors and utilities.
• Maintain Senior Authorised Person competence and safety culture.
