Job summary

INEOS Grangemouth is seeking an Electrical Power Distribution Technician to install, test and maintain high/low voltage power distribution equipment. The role supports 24/7 plant maintenance and requires safe, reliable operation of electrical networks up to 33kV.

You will work within a team at Grangemouth, with emphasis on safety, compliance with procedures, and continuous improvement in maintenance methods and equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven delivery across high/low voltage equipment and plant/equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience of HV switching and protection testing.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong decision making in area of expertise.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative in resolving issues.
• Knowledge of site operating standards, procedures, and electrical maintenance tech.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site electrical power distribution network up to 33kV and associated equipment.
• Carry out switching and operational tests for high/low voltage gear.
• Maintain safe working practices and comply with permit-to-work systems.
• Record work using Maximo and manage spare parts for repairs as needed.
• Identify improvements to methods and equipment to boost reliability and SHE performance.
