Base pay range

Our client, a highly regarded private equity firm with a global presence, is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join their London office. This is a rare opportunity to become part of a small, agile HR team supporting a high-performing and people-focused environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the London-based HR lead and collaborate with colleagues across APAC and the wider global team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the full HR lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboarding & Offboarding: Deliver a seamless and professional experience for new joiners and leavers, managing all associated processes.
• HR Operations: Own and enhance core HR processes, policies, and systems, ensuring alignment with local employment law and best practice.
• Employee Relations & Culture: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, supporting a positive and inclusive workplace culture
• Mobility & Immigration: Support international mobility processes, including visas, relocations, and cross-border employment matters.
• SMCR Compliance: Maintain and oversee SMCR-related documentation and processes, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Payroll & Benefits: Input and manage monthly payroll for the UK and APAC regions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in partnership with external providers.

Candidate Profile

• Solid experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within financial services or a similarly fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Hands-on experience with payroll input and coordination.
• Working knowledge of SMCR and regulatory HR frameworks.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven.
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a small, high-performing team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
